Questions to ask before buying or trying CBD Oil.
For some time now I have been contemplating whether to add CBD oil to our product line or not. As many of you have seen, the CBD oil industry has become a jungle to navigate. Not just a jungle, but a mass of tangled misinformation and outright lies.
Personally, I have been worn down by the hype and excessive marketing strategies of CBD oil and THC products as well. Not everyone will benefit from CBD oil. Not to mention it’s expensive. That having been said, you and our clients, have repeatedly asked for CBD oil products as an offering here at PharmaDMSO.
Don’t get me wrong, I have personally seen the amazing results from the use of CBD oil. Truly astounding properties, that among other things, have the ability to stop seizures, negate pain, reduce anxiety and increase the quality of life for hundreds of thousands, if not millions of individuals worldwide.
I felt obligated to do the research and make it possible for all of us to choose oil products that are pure and can be proven effective. Purity and safety are the very foundational principles on which PharmaDMSO, LLC. was created.
After a great deal of research and speaking with company owners, there have been a few standout products and companies. These companies, that go out of their way to offer quality tested products. You actually get what you pay for and as they say…”The proof is in the pudding.”
For me personally, it became painfully clear that there was only 1 company I wanted to partner with. That company is
CBD Biocare. Why you may ask?
Simply put, you get what you pay for. Third party product testing is a standard with CBD Biocare. They stand behind their products with impeccable proven science that I can look at any time, day or night. Reports are readily available for all to see. (Transparency)
No hidden fees, no cloak and dagger tactics, and no bait and switch. They, like we here at PharmaDMSO, use their products personally and can help when help is necessary.
It is with great honor, that I am able to announce a strategic alliance with
CBD Biocare. Together, CBD Biocare and PharmaDMSO will bring pain to its knees. (Pun intended)
Here are a few of the questions I have asked of CBD oil and the companies that produce them. You should ask the same before choosing to purchase any CBD products.
1.) Where is the Cannabis grown?
Why does it matter you may ask? For starters, hemp is a bio-accumulator. That means that hemp has the ability to actually absorb both the good and the bad from the environment. Not just the soil, but the very air itself.
This fact alone makes it very important to purchase CBD oil that is organic in nature.
Using pesticides is particularly dangerous from hemp. The health benefits you receive may very well be diminished by the side effect of pesticides, herbicides or heavy metals.
For decades we have been poisoning our environment with all that and then some. It is very important to know where and how your hemp is being grown. Research has shown that these elements, pesticides, herbicides, and heavy metals can cause cancer.
2.)How much THC is actually in the CBD oil?
This is extremely important. Why? Let’s say, hypothetically, you’re a truck driver, dealing with more back pain than you can physically stand. So, you order and find out that CBD oil relieves the pain and life begin to be great again.
The day comes when your dispatcher exclaims “lucky you, it’s your turn for a random drug test”. Confidently, you march into the testing facility. After all you don’t use drugs, right? After the test comes back, you find yourself sidelined because of a “failed random drug test”.
Now you can’t drive for anyone. Laugh if you may, but it has and does happen. Don’t let the drug policies’ at work, take your livelihood away for using CBD oil. Consider only CBD oil with less than .03% THC. Or better yet, none at all. And is it certified to be so?
These are the benefits of CBD with Less Than
0.03% THCNo failed drug tests (if zero THC)
- No fear of mind-altering effects
- Complies with the guidelines of the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA)oil 13) Amount of CBD oil in the product itself.
There are companies out there that will omit the amount of CBD oil in a product. Why? Because they are selling you one thing and making statements about another. Let’s say you purchase 750mg CBD oil, you expect it to be 750mg per dose correct?
Read the fine print that should be on every bottle you purchase. It may be there was 750mg before the batch was made and your oil actually contains .0075mg. I know it’s crazy, but it happens. Any worthwhile company should be able to tell you exactly what is in each product. Better yet, it should be on the product itself.
If the concentration of CBD is not listed on the label, use the following formula to help guide your purchasing decision:
Total amount of CBD (in mg)/volume of container (in ounces) = concentration level
Example: 1,500mg CBD/4 ounce bottle = 375mg/oz.
accountability 04) Is there any kind of Accountability?
This is a biggie for me. As I have mentioned before, if I have a question, suggestion or complaint, I want to speak to a real live person. PERIOD! As many of you know I have our phone number ported over to me personally whenever I can. If I can’t take a call, then I will return your call in a timely fashion.
Expect the best customer service that can be provided. It may be through a chat box, email or by phone, regardless there needs to be someone to answer questions. It’s OK not to know the answers but a good customer service rep will find the answer for you.
The internet avails a certain cloak of secrecy and darkness. If a company can’t be reached by phone, beware, no…be VERY wary. What are they trying to hide? If you have inferior products it makes total sense to avoid contact with the public at all costs.
If I have a question, I want to talk to someone. Computer answering mazes make me angry, who needs that?
At any time, you should be able to ask questions about compound analysis, third-party testing, % of CBD and dosage. More and more, personal contact with a real human is diminishing. Because you are reading this article, I assume you feel the same way as I do.
These are the four questions I have asked myself. If you look closely, the questions reveal; transparency, proven potency, customer service, product safety and purity. In Reality, these are the most important questions I could think of as a consumer, health advocate and business owner.
Please feel free to ask questions about CBD Biocare’s products as well as our own PharmaDMSO products. If I don’t know the answers, I can and will find the answer for you.
The final pressing question to ask yourself? Is CBD oil right for me?
