CAT (Controlled Absorption Technology)
DMSO is a very interesting substance, having the innate property of being very "thirsty". DMSO has the ability to literally extract moisture from the surrounding Oxygen.. When DMSO is added to any liquid it becomes, hydrated in varying degrees. For instance, adding water reduces the ability for the DMSO to penetrate various tissue.
Depending on the molecule of the substrate being added to DMSO, the absorption rate can be controlled. By controlling the hydration level of the DMSO, tissue penetration and depth can be adjusted.
This technology we call CAT
or Controlled Absorption Technology.
