What exactly does C.A.T. technology do? We have developed a system deemed Controlled Absorption Technology . This allows us to hydrate DMSO molecules, effectively, adjusting the depth and absorption properties of DMSO. By itself, DMSO, absorbs rapidly through the epidermis layers of skin and soft tissue, reaching the bloodstream within seconds. DMSO reduces inflammation in joint and muscle tissue, increasing blood flow, and interacting with pain receptors to ease general pain. DMSO's quick absorption, reaches the bloodstream and circulates throughout the entire body However, controlling the absorption rate of DMSO using C.A.T. (Controlled Absorption Technology) has a much more desirable outcome. Absorption Rate of DMSO: Dr. Richard Robyn, from the New York Academy of Sciences, performed a human test for 30 and 90 days to review the effects of large doses of DMSO on humans. What his findings shared, is that the absorption rate of DMSO in humans, with a 2.7 oz application of DMSO 90% gel, takes nearly 2 hours to completely absorb. It is important to note that the application was localized to a small area of the body. What that means is that if you place 2.7oz DMSO gel @ at 90%, on your body, the absorption rate would be .5 grams per second. Without the gel, the absorption rate is around .87 grams per second. Unfortunately, that absorption rate, bypasses some of the target area. Possibly passing through the areas of concern, such as the epidermis, nerve centers and muscle and connective tissue. C.A.T. Technology Explained: If you have ever tried DMSO and it didn’t seem to work for you, it could be it was simply absorbing too quickly. Often this is the reason that it takes a repeated application to reach or accomplish the desired effect with DMSO. By slowing the absorption rate in percentage increments, we can effectively target specific areas with much greater delivery and effectiveness. This allows for complete absorption of material into specific targeted areas of concern. Hence the development of C.A.T. Technology. Starting at the end of 2020, we will be assigning all our products a “C.A.T. rating”. This rating will allow clients to assess their DMSO product needs more effectively.

Have you ever heard someone say, “I just need to get the juices flowing” in essence, this is what they are referring to. Movement and flexibility of joints depend a great deal on having enough Hyaluronic Acid available. As we age, the amount of Hyaluronic Acid (HA) a body produces is greatly diminished. About Hyaluronic Acid: It has been common knowledge for a long time that Hyaluronic Acid was a key component in the body to “lube” the joints. Specifically geared towards aging and the effects that it has on our bodies. One of the products we have developed, though simple, is our Propitiatory blend of HYALURONIC ACID and Filtered Clinical Grade DMSO. Hyaluronic acid, by nature, is a very sticky substance that does not absorb readily into the skin. Taking Hyaluronic Acid as a supplement will yield results, but often takes months to see any changes, primarily because of the gastrointestinal tract. Wouldn’t it be great, if you could use a dropper to place the Hyaluronic Acid where it needed to go and bypass the gastrointestinal tract altogether? Not to mention raising the absorption rate to nearly 89%. That is exactly what we have achieved with our new Hyaluronic Acid/DMSO formulation. The formulation we created has a high percentage of the Hyaluronic / DMSO blend per volume. The Challenge: The combination has turned out to be a game-changer for so many people. The issue we were having is that sometimes, the “sticky” Hyaluronic Acid would freeze the rollerball. In addition to having to wipe off the roller with a wet rag, the dispenser was inaccurate and would not let you adjust the dosage. The Solution: We started placing the HA/DMSO blend in a glass dropper vial. That simple adjustment in packaging has made such a difference to those who use it. Now we can apply as much or as little HA/DMSO as needed per application. Solving that issue allows us as users, the ability to lengthen the time of pain relief, and the amount of HA/DMSO per dose.

Top 5 reasons we use Bergamot Essential Oils Here in the US we rarely hear about exotic fruits such as Bergamot. Personally, without the research that is so readily available, I would have completed my life without ever using this miraculous plant. Thanks to the incredible research provided on the subject, we have included Bergamot oil with great success. Bergamot is a spicy scented citrus fruit that grows primarily in Italy originally from Turkey. The fruit is believed to be a derivative of a cross between Seville orange and a pear lemon plants. Its medicinal properties have been exploited for centuries. Here I have listed the top 5 reasons we use Bergamot essential oils in our DMSO blends. It is noteworthy that there are hundreds of health benefits that this article does not cover. Alleviating Depression A recent study published by the Karger Group has concluded that the components of bergamot oil, such as alpha-pinene and limonene, are antidepressant and stimulating in nature. The compounds aid in the stimulation of blood flow. By improving the circulation of the blood, they generate a feeling of freshness, joy, and energy in cases of sadness and depression. These particular aspects of Bergamot essential oil are of specific interest in combating S.A.D. disorder . In 2017 a research paper was published by the Phototherapy Research journal, revealing that Bergamot essential oil has a hormonal impact. For that reason, Bergamot is powerful in these neurological and mental conditions. Specifically based on the research conducted for Season Affected Disorder. Fever reduction Acting as a febrifuge , bergamot essential oil, helps lower the body temperature, reducing fevers. As an antibiotic, it fights infections arising from viruses and bacteria. This includes viruses caused by influenza and malaria. This is also accomplished by stimulating gland secretion from the eccrine glands. Simply put, it helps you sweat out infections that cause fever. As an added benefit, this sweating cleans glands and pores of infectious toxins also helping to reduce fevers. Reduces Pain Bergamot research has shown to reduce pain in the human body. This research conducted by the Department of Pharmacology and by the University Centre for Adaptive Disorders and Headache, Section of Neuropharmacology of Normal and Pathological Neuronal Plasticity, University of Calabria , conclude that the use of Bergamot essential oils does indeed reduce pain. This is accomplished by stimulating hormones that actually reduce the nerve pain we feel. This makes Bergamot a most useful tool in the fight against headaches, sprains, muscle aches and tears. This allows the end user the opportunity to use a natural remedy to combat aches and pains without the use of harmful over the counter drugs. Great for the skin The main reason that bergamot is used in so many skin care products is that of the innate ability to keep skin youthful. Bergamot contains a chemical known as a cicatrizant, this chemical helps heal scars and other skin blemishes. This blemish removal is accomplished by leveling the pigmentation and melanin for a more uniform and attractive look to your skin. Bergamot is used specifically to reduce the scarring caused by acute acne. Antibiotic / Disinfectant Currently, research has been led by the team at the Department of Drug Sciences and Products for Health, University of Messina, Italy . This research suggests that there are properties contained in Bergamot essential oils that are antibiotic and disinfectant in nature. Specifically referring to the substances of alpha-pinene and limonene. Their published paper on the subject in 2007 shows that the growth of viruses, bacteria, fungi, and germs was greatly inhibited. This is especially useful for those that suffer from infections of the colon, intestines, urinary tracts, and kidneys. As you can see by the above article, Bergamot is an essential component of our newest product Elevate. Combining DMSO with the Bergamot oil can reduce depression, pain, and infections, while it elevates a positive outlook to your holiday season.

S.A.D. Disorder: Here it is Fall and the Holidays are closing fast. Family and friends will soon be gathered together, opening gifts and spending time together. You may even pick up a few pounds over the next few months. The days are getting colder and shorter, the nights get even colder and longer…who wouldn’t love to see the sun once again? This particular time of year is very difficult for many of us, myself included. All my life I have been hearing folks say things like, “there is a cloud hanging over my head….” and “I am so tired…” Believe it or not, there is a majority of individuals who do not feel this way. If that’s you, congratulations, this article excludes your group. For the rest of us who suffer….. I used to chalk it up to being a “human-bear” and was just ready to hibernate for the winter. Some even sing about having the “Winter Blues”. Actually, this is a real Phenomenon, a medical disorder. It is called S.A.D. (Seasonal Affective Disorder). SAD has been recognized and included in the diagnostic classification system of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual for Mental Disorders , Fourth Edition, as a major depressive disorder with seasonal pattern, and many clinicians are familiar with the symptoms. Statistically speaking: According to US statistical information, over 19 million people suffer from this debilitating disorder. Of those 19 million, over 4 times as many women suffer than men. Unfortunately, the prime suspects are women between 25 and 60 years of age. Clearly, there are incredible but limited options for treatment. Some common treatments require anti-depressant drugs such as Zoloft and Prozac. Though they may help, the side effects are more serious than the disorder itself. Cause and Effect: What causes S.A.D to begin with? Let’s take a look at the physiology behind the S.A.D. disorder. First of all your biological clock ( circadian rhythm ) changes. The reduced level of sunlight in fall and winter are primarily the cause for winter-onset SAD. Decreasing the amount of sunlight in your life, may disrupt your body's internal clock and lead to feelings of depression. In turn, weight gain and feeling tired all the time. Notably, your Serotonin levels change dramatically. As your body drops in serotonin, your brain chemistry changes. This brain chemical (neurotransmitter) affects moods specifically. Reduced sunlight causes a drop in serotonin that triggers depression. Again, tired all the time, withdrawn from family and friends and of course, weight gain. How about your melatonin levels ? The change in seasons, i.e. Cold Long nights, short days, can disrupt the balance of the body's level of melatonin, which plays a role in sleep patterns and mood. Which in turn can lead to an onset of Depression? You get the point. May I offer a substitute for dangerous drugs as a therapy choice for S.A.D.? Possibly even an all-natural, certified organic solution? Essential oils have been proven to be highly effective in combating mood and anxiety disorders. Such as the likes of Bergamot, Sweet Orange and Lemon. Combining these essential oils separately with Pharma grade DMSO can create a powerful anti-S.A.D. product. For this very purpose, we have formulated 3 distinct products sold under one umbrella... ELEVATE . Lemon: Here are the top ten reasons we use Lemon Essential Oil Bergamot: Top reasons we use Bergamot essential oil Sweet Orange: The main reasons we started using Sweet Orange essential oils

There are so many different ailments that have been alleviated with wintergreen, that it cannot be completely described in this short article. The main reason we started researching into the use of Wintergreen is its innate properties as an anti-inflammatory plant. Short History: Medicines made from willow, birch and other salicylate-rich plants appear in clay tablets from ancient Sumer as well as the Ebers Papyrus from ancient Egypt. In 1853, a chemist by the name of Charles Frédéric Gerhardt , compounded acetyl chloride with sodium salicylate to produce acetylsalicylic acid for the first time. It was actually in 1899, when a German company named Bayer, started mass producing acetylsalicylic acid into tablets they deemed as Aspirin. The rest, as we say, is history. For the purpose of this article, I am going to focus on those elements that are most desirable in our DMSO blended gels. Notably; these are the most important factors in our decision to use wintergreen essential oil; Wintergreen has an innate ability to fight pain and swelling from inflammation. Using the chemical methyl salicylate, wintergreen is one of the best inflammation-fighting substances in the world. Wintergreen, as a “counter irritant”, applied to the skin, has the ability to reduce irritation caused by contact with contaminants. Such as Poison Oak, Stinging Nettle and the like. Nerve pain is diminished with the use of Wintergreen. Especially useful for the relief of sciatica pain, ovarian pain, menstrual cramps, and restless leg syndrome. All of which are directly associated with swelling. (Inflammation) Headaches are easily dispatched with the use of Wintergreen essential oil. Wintergreen absorbs well into the skin and acts as a “numbing agent” very similar to cortisone. This particular property is of great interest as a topical agent used as a gel with DMSO. Bone and tissue pain can be managed by properly apply Wintergreen oil. Using DMSO enhances the already potent pain relief properties. Stomach and gastrointestinal issues have been remedied for centuries with the use of Wintergreen oil. Wintergreen is a powerful agent in the fight against asthma and pleurisy. Gout has been a plaguing issue for our clients the world over. Wintergreen and DMSO together can actually alleviate gout pain. Wintergreen was one of the very first essential oils we added to our Gels. Mainly because of the many health benefits that it brings to the table. As a carrier chemical, DMSO can only enhance the many properties of wintergreen.
